Postage and Delivery

Depending on volume, postage costs are usually covered by the laboratory. We provide packaging materials, including impression bags, postage boxes and pre-paid postage labels. Work can be posted to the laboratory using a number of methods, including Royal Mail First Class, Special Delivery, and via courier. For high volume clients, a personal courier service is provided, which includes collection of impressions from the surgery.

First class packages sent to the lab are free if there is at least £50 worth of work inside. If there is less than this we charge £5.

Packages sent to the lab using the courier are complimentary if there is at least £100 worth of work inside. If there is less than this we charge £10.80.

This includes price increases for 2021.

Turnaround

We will do our utmost to meet your turnaround requirements. Urgent retention can be completed quickly, including same day dispatch for Essix retainers and 24 turnaround for Hawley retainers. Removable appliances can be manufactured in one week or less, and heat cure appliances require a two week turnaround. More urgent cases can usually be completed, just contact us to confirm.

Payment and Invoicing

You will be sent a comprehensive invoice detailing all jobs completed at the start of each month. Payment is expected within one month, via cheque or BACS bank transfer. For high volume clients, a negotiable discount may be available. To be eligible for this discount, payment is expected in a timely manner and the volume of work must be maintained.
